Rips have opened between our dimension and the monster dimension, allowing thousands of monsters to come through into our world. Some of those monsters have come to fight, some have come in peace, and some have other plans entirely…

When Theo Anderson is conscripted into the new Monster Defence Force his only thought is how quickly he can get discharged. Theo doesn’t care that there are monsters terrorising the coast of Somerset, all he wants is to be left alone, living in his very tidy home, doing his very ordered job, and living his very organised life.

But when Theo is separated from his unit and captured by a monster that looks like he’s walked straight out of one of Theo’s fantasies, he will soon discover that not everything can be controlled, and sometimes it is easier to let someone, or something take the lead.

Monster-on-human smut incoming.

A Very Monstrous Desire really surprised me. I was expecting way more smut and a lot less plot, but it wasn’t so. The plot was really cool, and I’m definitely going to continue with this series to watch it unfold further. I also expected it to be similar to Lily Mayne’s monster series, but I think just the fact that this one is written in third person takes me far away from those books, and I actually don’t like reading books in third person, buuut… After a few chapters I was into it and didn’t pay much attention to it anymore.

I also want to add that while it’s about monsters, it is not paranormal, it’s Sci-Fi. We’re talking war across multiple dimensions with high-tech weapons and such.

This book is about Theo, the human, and Baku, the monster. Theo is a part of MDF (Monster Defence Force), but not willingly, and he’s sharing his unwillingness to everyone who wants to hear about it. But still, he’s a great soldier and a great friend. He might come off as a major grump, but his actions shows that he might be in the right place after all.

We get a lot of information about Theo, but not that much about Baku, other than he used to be green and how his world/dimension is suffering. We also get to know that he appreciates Theo a lot, and he likes to show Theo just how much. Theo tries to resist, but that’s literally out of his control. The monster has decided that he wants Theo, and what the monster wants, the monster gets.

Their relationship was a bit awkward, but I mean, they’ve just met and from two different dimension, so that makes sense. Their attraction is purely physical at first, but emerge into something more, and it’s very sweet ♥

The spice was spicing, obviously a little different than human on human spice, which makes it that more interesting and fun. Anyone ordered a size-adjustable schlong?
